About the role
Ravan.ai is looking for a skilled Golang Developer with 2–4 years of professional experience to help build and scale production-grade distributed systems powering real-time AI voice agents and sales automation.
The engineer will work on high-performance microservices handling real-time conversations, agent orchestration and multi-channel automation used by thousands of businesses. This role is suitable for a backend-focused engineer who enjoys writing clean and reliable Go code, solving production issues and contributing to systems operating at meaningful scale.
Employment type: Full-time.
Work mode: On-site at the New Delhi office. Candidates from anywhere in India may apply but must be willing to relocate and work from the office.
Start date: Immediate.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain scalable microservices using Go.
- Build and optimize APIs and backend services using Gin, gRPC and REST patterns.
- Implement background and asynchronous processing using Asynq or comparable systems.
- Build data-access layers using PostgreSQL and GORM or equivalent libraries.
- Debug and resolve production incidents, performance bottlenecks and reliability problems.
- Contribute to distributed-system architecture, consistency and failure-mode discussions.
- Improve system scalability, code quality, automated testing and operational reliability.
- Collaborate with engineering, product and AI teams on production integrations.
- Support Docker-based development and CI/CD delivery processes.
- Write clean, maintainable and well-tested production code.
