About the role
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Supply Chain Lead with 7 to 12 years of experience to spearhead our Demand Planning function. This critical role involves optimizing our supply chain operations, ensuring seamless product flow, and driving efficiency across our manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will possess a BE/B.Tech and an MBA/PGDM, bringing a strategic mindset and hands-on expertise to our Mumbai Office or Karjan Plant. This full-time position offers a competitive CTC range of 16 to 24 LPA for candidates with a 30-day notice period, ready to make an immediate impact.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and manage the end-to-end demand planning process, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business objectives.
- Develop and implement robust vendor management strategies to optimize supplier performance, cost, and delivery.
- Oversee inventory control mechanisms to minimize stockouts and excess inventory, improving working capital efficiency.
- Drive the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) cycle, facilitating cross-functional collaboration to balance demand and supply.
- Ensure meticulous execution follow-through on all supply chain initiatives, tracking performance and implementing corrective actions.
- Analyze market trends, historical data, and business intelligence to forecast demand accurately and proactively.
- Collaborate with production, sales, and procurement teams to synchronize supply chain activities.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities within the supply chain framework.
