About the role
Cosmo Films is hiring an Automation Engineer to support PLC, drives, instrumentation, and control-system reliability at the Karjan Plant. The role combines daily breakdown response with long-cycle reliability improvement and preventive-maintenance planning.
Key responsibilities
- Troubleshoot PLC, drives, instrumentation, and control-system failures on priority equipment.
- Build preventive-maintenance routines for recurring automation and instrumentation issues.
- Partner with production teams to reduce repeat stoppages and unsafe workarounds.
- Maintain spares readiness, change documentation, and incident history.
- Support commissioning, trials, and reliability upgrades when required.
- Prepare concise downtime and failure-analysis updates for plant reviews.
