About the role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Production Engineer - Assembly to join our Operations team at the Aurangabad Plant. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing assembly line operations, driving efficiency, and ensuring product quality. This role requires 4 to 8 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with a strong background in production management and process optimization.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and manage daily assembly line operations to achieve production targets and schedules.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing principles to optimize workflow, reduce waste, and improve overall efficiency.
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis for production issues, defects, and downtime, implementing effective Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
- Ensure strict adherence to Quality Control standards and procedures throughout the assembly process.
- Monitor and improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) by analyzing performance data and implementing improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve operational challenges and drive continuous improvement.
